ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Susana Garrido Bárrios, Psychologist, effective member ofOrder of Portuguese Psychologists  certified byEuroPsyand member ofAmerican Psychological Association. I am also part of the Fellowship of Psychologists for Crisis and Catastrophe Situations, of the Order of Portuguese Psychologists.

I have a solid background in Psychology, namely: Degree (pre Bologna) fromISPA, Postgraduate in Int. Psychotherapy and Psychodynamic Guidance; Intervention in Crisis and Disaster Situations; Palliative care; Intervention with Older Adults, among others.

Throughout my career, I have performed various roles, from face-to-face and online consultations for teenagers, adults and senior adults to parental counseling, intervention projects and psycho-pedagogical support.

​

I practice private practice and am Director, Trainer and Psychologist at a Psychology and Education Center, where I coordinate the center's Psychology and therapies center and work as a clinical psychologist, carry out and coordinate Training activities and develop psycho-pedagogical intervention projects.

The professional address is located in Seixal.

I also highlight the participation in several multi-year projects, namely with entities linked to education and research, such as the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, National Reading Plan, among others.
